  • Led the OSHA VPP re-certification for a Commercial General Contractor who had been de-classified as “Inactive” to regain their full “Active” status which prevented loss of their OSHA VPP Partnership status.
  • Acted as internal auditor for Commercial General Contractors to identify safety and liability risk, and created plans to minimize and/or eliminate those identified issues.
  • Evaluated and revised Corporate Safety Manuals for Commercial General Contractors encompassing OSHA regulatory compliance, training, drug free workplace, self-audit, etc.
  • Negotiated over $250,000 OSHA citation fine reductions from 1998-2018.
  • Cooperatively established a safety culture resulting in 17 consecutive OSHA inspections without citation from January 2006 to January 2007, followed by 34 consecutive OSHA inspections without citation from March 2007 through December 2009.
  • Standardized claims reporting procedures and claims management process resulting in decreases of Lost Workday Incident Rate (LWIR) of approximately 50% below BLS (Bureau Labor Statistics) national average for non-residential building contractors.
  • Solicited and secured third party consulting services to increase national field safety audit presence; provided customized safety audit to the consulting service to aggregate inspection results for trend analysis.
  • Developed and launched a Behavior Based Safety program resulting in a Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) reduction of over 50% within a two-year span, in comparison to the BLS rate for non-residential building contractors.
