Relevant Accomplishments

  • Successfully led business user team in on-time implementation of SAP FICO and BW at $1B+ egg, potato and cheese producer.
  • Informed senior leadership team (SLT) of need to scale manufacturing operations immediately at $50M candle and fragrance manufacturer. Then identified and prioritized tasks to do so, including investing just $50K in additional information technology capability to improve cash flow by up to $2M annually.
  • Performed majority of accounting month-end close and year-end audit processes, including conducting full physical inventories, creating and posting journal entries, etc.
  • Completed various Controller functions at Cogentix Medical and CURiO Brands (both were consulting engagements), as well as at Jack Link’s (5 Plant Controllers & 1 Cost Mgr. as direct-reports), Michael Foods, Donaldson Company (plant, DC and business unit) and US Steel (coke works, iron production, sheet mill and tin mill).

  • Developed optimal inventory levels for CFO and SVP Ops; $1M cash flow improvement.
  • Mined SAP data to develop weekly procurement spend projection and reviewed results with CFO and COO. Proved to be critical in managing down borrowing by $70M over four months.
