Relevant Accomplishments
- Engaged with a $35 million chemical firm importing materials in developing processes for achieving cost savings of over 25% in ocean freight and domestic U.S. logistics operations. Acted as mentor and trainer to staff in development of relevant logistics skill sets.
- As Director of Logistics and as a consultant, has managed and negotiated strategic supplier agreements for all modes of transportation, including bulk and container ocean freight, rail contracts, motor carrier, warehouse & terminal agreements, and transportation equipment procurement.
- Proficient in all transportation hazardous materials regulations, both domestic and international. Developed and oversaw the transportation emergency response activities for Arkema.
- Determined optimal supply chain for Sales & Operations Planning processes for raw material supply and outbound shipments of both commodity and specialty chemicals.
