- Represents a wide range of business clients in connection with various types of complex real estate transactions and related matters. Clients have included real estate funds, opportunity funds, major asset managers, REITs, private equity firms, individual real estate investors, trustees, and a Fortune 200 public company. Manages teams of lawyers, paralegals and inhouse personnel, as well as outside counsel, in connection with various matters.
- International, full-service law firm with more than 1500 attorneys among 20 offices. The Los Angeles office had approximately 180 attorneys across a wide range of practice areas, including Real Estate, Corporate, Environmental, Bankruptcy, Litigation and Labor and Employment.
- Represented a wide range of business clients in connection with various types of complex real estate transactions and related matters. Clients included real estate funds, opportunity funds, major asset managers, REITs, major banks, individual real estate investors, trustees, and large public companies. Managed teams of lawyers, paralegals and in-house personnel, as well as outside counsel, in connection with various matters.
- Currently represents a major fiduciary trust company in connection with the listing and sale of one of the most valuable pieces of residential real estate in the U.S. (Estimates of value have ranged from $100MM to well over $250MM.)
- Currently represents a Fortune-200 public company in connection with the acquisition of a major development site. The total value of the completed and stabilized property is estimated to be approximately $45MM.
- Represented a major New York-based real estate opportunity fund, as buyer/landlord, in the sale-leaseback and financing of a portfolio of 50 retail stores located in 10 different states and Washington, D.C., with an aggregate purchase price of $622MM.
- Represented a Dallas-based private equity firm, as seller/tenant, regarding a portfolio sale-leaseback transaction involving four industrial sites located in multiple states, with an aggregate value of approximately $15MM. Currently represents the same firm in a smaller sale-leaseback transaction with a value of approximately $4MM.
- Represented two different joint ventures – each a subsidiary of a major New York real estate asset manager – regarding the coordinated sales of large pools of residential mortgage loans. The total value was approximately $30MM.
