Relevant Accomplishments
- Successfully led business user team in the on-time implementation of SAP FICO and BW at $1B+ egg, potato, and cheese producer.
- Informed senior leadership team (SLT) of the need to scale manufacturing operations immediately at a $50M candle and fragrance manufacturer. Identified and prioritized tasks, including investing just $50K in additional information technology capability to improve cash flow by up to $2M annually.
- Performed majority of accounting month-end close and year-end audit processes, including conducting complete physical inventories, creating and posting journal entries, etc.
- Completed various Controller functions at Cogentix Medical and CURiO Brands (both were consulting engagements), as well as at Jack Link’s (5 Plant Controllers & 1 Cost Mgr. as direct-reports), Michael Foods, Donaldson Company (plant, DC, and business unit) and US Steel (coke works, iron production, sheet mill and tin mill).

- Made business case to SLT to outsource production and save $1M+ annually at a $50M medical device firm.
- Leveraged ERP to extract and stratify $2M in product repair cost data, then proposed to the executive team the strategic value of creating tiered pricing service contracts ($25K+ P&L impact).
- Developed optimal inventory levels for CFO and SVP Ops; $1M cash flow improvement.
- Mined SAP data to develop weekly procurement spending projections and reviewed results with the CFO and COO. Proved critical in managing down borrowing by $70M over four months.
- Eliminated 400+ hours ($33K) from annual standard costing cycle at $1B+ protein snack firm.
