Products launched include: a line of high protein meal replacement beverages (both dairy and plant based), a line of mental support functional beverages, a line of hydration beverages, a line of shelf stable ready-to-eat high protein puddings and a high protein, plant based salty snack.
- Responsible for the Product Development, Process Development and Packaging Development for a functional food company specializing in the development and manufacture of functional foods and dietary supplements in confectionary formats including chews, bars, cups and other edibles. Managed the co-manufacturing technical relationships for 50+ customers from prototypes to commercialization. Regulatory reviewer of packaging labels for compliance with FDA and CFR regulations.
- Responsible for the co-manufacturing operations for the brand’s nutritional supplements including Shakeology, the number one revenue generator for the company. Sourced and set up contracts for new manufacturing facilities. Working knowledge of powder processing and packaging technologies and equipment including spray dry, Sourced and procured novel ingredients including new and emerging plant proteins.
- Contributed to the bottom line from product launches, process optimization, better sourcing opportunities and cost reduction.
