M&A Executive Search provided a project-based confectionery product development consultant to a cannabis-infused edibles manufacturer to address a critical new product development and manufacturing process challenge.
The engagement focused on developing a new product with a hard-panned sugar shell, optimizing confectionery production processes, troubleshooting formulation and coating issues, and creating scalable manufacturing procedures. Working as an embedded technical advisor alongside the client’s product development team, the consultant provided expertise in chocolate processing, sugar confectionery manufacturing, SOP development, equipment selection, and production scale-up. The assignment delivered a repeatable production methodology and commercialization roadmap, enabling the organization to expand its product portfolio, improve manufacturing consistency, and accelerate the launch of innovative cannabis confectionery products.
