  • Developed pitch decks, offering memorandums and data rooms for over 10 different successful transactions in technology, oilfield services, and business services companies.
  • At Complete Production Services, completed 39 acquisitions and divestitures of various oil & gas service companies with a total investment of over $800 million. All transactions were successfully integrated into existing operations and became major components of a corporation that sold for $2.7 billion to Superior Energy Services in February of 2012. This transaction provided our sponsor PE firm, SCF Partners, with one of the largest returns in their long history.
  • Led the investment in an early-stage composite frac plug business with extensive diligence on patent validity and competitive landscape. Orchestrated technology development roadmap, found and hired the CEO, developed sales & marketing strategy, and built out new manufacturing facility. This business sold with a 12.5x return on capital
  • Created technology partnership between a major oilfield service provider and a water treatment technology company to develop a portable 5,000 bpd system that treated oilfield waste water to a level sufficient for re-use in the oilfield. Handled all aspects of partnership, including market analysis, sourcing of potential partners, negotiation of partnership agreement, and management of development of initial system which performed as specified in partnership agreement.
  • At Hi-Crush Proppants negotiated and closed contracts worth over $500 million for both proppant and final mile trucking delivery systems. Developed C-Suite level, personal relationships at numerous major E&P’s
  • At Stanford Business School, after graduation developed 19 case studies in entrepreneurship, venture financing, organizational change, marketing, and strategic management. Served as teaching assistant for Creation of New Ventures and Small Business Management courses at the business school, as well as a business management course at Stanford Law School
