This included leading supplier capacity analysis, operations capacity analysis, raw and packing material delivery synchronized with production needs, production scheduling for 24×7 making and packing operations producing over 2000 SKUs, and inventory management.
- Led logistics organizations for an organic food/spice company, including scheduling for 24×5 production operation, finished good inventory management, capacity analysis for processing and packaging, customer service, and 5-year master plan to support year-on-year double-digit growth.
- Implemented innovative business model in the customized supply chain to deliver $2M in annual savings through consolidating contract packing operations in-house and leveraging packing material suppliers to reduce lead times and cost
- Implementing LEAN supply chain tools, such as level scheduling, just-in-time materials, and Kanban systems, delivered $13 million in supply chain savings.
- Developed and qualified tools to deliver best-in-class product conversion capability, which decreased obsolescence and resulted in several conversions with ZERO scrap
- Led value stream mapping and end-to-end supply chain tools to reduce raw and packing material inventory while decreasing production cycle time.
