  • Responsible for omni channel facilities, 1 company operated fully automated fulfillment center, 2 3rd party DC’s in Mexico, and network data analytics team.  Supporting leadership development of two directors, 2 senior managers with over 1000 associates and managing 3rd party clients with change management.
    • Responsible for starting up omni channel (eCom, retail, wholesale) company operating automated FC and 2 new 3PL sites within 18 months.

    • Implemented two successful WMS and LMS integrations with two company operated facilities with support of IT team.   
    • Leadership Development:  Internally promoted seven partners to leadership roles through coaching, development plans, and trainings. Designed and implemented leadership development training program for Starbucks entry level leaders.  
    • Maintained lower than 1.7 OSHA OIR through multiple safety programs. 
    • Reduced truck loads by 20% through load consolidation for west coast. 
    • Selected 3rd party providers through RFQ process with sourcing and selecting new providers for CPG business.   
    • Implemented the company’s first Disability & Inclusion program for supply chain group. 
    • Sourced and selected 3 PL for CPG offsite business.

  • Managed Starbucks packaging and green coffee 3PL warehouse departments in a highly engaged safety culture. 
    • Managed Green Coffee: Improved raw material storage by 20%. Increased team morale through structured training and partner process improvement teams.  Implemented new 3PL contract for green coffee warehouse to reduce quality issues and annualized cost.  Led 60 partners, five direct reports and $16M budget.    
    • Lead Packing: Managed partner driven continuous improvement environment through teaching/training, improving process and procedural compliance, and establishing accountability in all levels. 
    • Results: Reduced AOP by 7% with reduced storage needs and increased partner view survey results by 27% with engaged workforce through peer partner team and roundtables. 
    • Supported coffee master education and coffee education for all partners within the department. 
    • Supported continuous improvement Kaizen exercise and JHA safety interactions.  
    • Designed new planning schedules for packaging and green teams to reduce overtime by 5%. 
  • Managed all functional operations for the distribution center and created solutions for significant operations, management and procedural issues. Managed seven Supervisors and two BSAs in a highly mechanized sortation facility of 300k square feet. 
    • Managed inbound operations and designed process guides for operations departments by improving the environment, teaching, training, process procedural compliance, and accountability.   
    • Managed outbound operations and implemented metrics on truck-load utilization with defined process, deceased truckloads by 20% by lane to all markets.  
    • Supported behavioral based safety program. 
  • Oversaw 35 partners within all functional areas of the Distribution Center. Trained new partners on replenishment, picking, pallet building, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation. Ensured distribution center compliance, as well as plant standards on HACCP, safety and GMPs.  
    • Managed outbound shipping, order filling, IT and truck-load utilization. 
    • Implemented new partner schedules from one shift to three shift operations through high-speed sortation system. 
    • Managed fill-case and break-pack order filling in modules and offline, replenishment and reserve stocking, and quality assurance. 
    • Led inventory control team through ABC cycle count certification, year-end physicals, and daily IC functions. Implemented load bar program for all outbound orders to reduce truck-load utilization. 
    • Oversaw distribution, receiving, traffic, return to vendor transfers, and stock-to-stock transfers.  
  • Supervised production staff, standardized processes, processed EDI ordering system, purchased raw materials, implemented production schedules, assisted with quality assurance, operated graphic and shaping machinery, supervised all shipping and receiving
