Summary
This expert is a seasoned corporate finance leader with experience in key strategic finance functional areas: FP&A, capital and operational planning, corporate strategy, investment strategy, asset management, and all phases of the M&A process. The expert has particular experience with the corporate real estate function, both from the perspective of the corporate occupier and the real estate services provider. He has also developed special expertise in Business Intelligence and data governance & management, guiding firms to effectively implement technology and develop tools to manage real estate portfolios and all related functional activities. In all functions, including corporate real estate, this expert leverages data from across the organization – as well as from ouside – to develop KPIs and decision tools that effectively integrate and communicate both operational and financial metrics.
This expert collaborates effectively with stakeholders across the enterprise and at all organizational levels to ensure that problems are scoped fully, solved completely and communicated broadly. He has managed teams (from 4-12 reports) delivering global processes in finance, real estate and related technologies. He operates both at the strategic level – ensuring operational processes are aligned to business strategy – and at the tactical, blade-of-grass level, ensuring proper implementation and execution of business processes.   • Developed strategic assessment and operational recommendations for Savills US Research & Data group and Knowledge Cubed product management (2019)
  • Led JJ’s Business Intelligence team embedded with client function. Sold business to client, built team of 4-5 developers from scratch. Led design & delivery of over 50 dashboards in 18 month period across all global real estate functions. Dramatically improved management processes, situational awareness and operational insight using dashboards, saving millions of dollars in cost.
  • Consulted to Credit Suisse Corporate Real Estate Services group. Supported development of global technology strategy in collaboration with internal & external resources. Also analyzed global BC/DR capabilities and supported annual FP&A planning process.
  • Led Global Real Estate Finance function, including 10-12 staff worldwide. Led monthly & annual planning & reporting cycles. Provided financial support for all global real estate transactions: renewals, space acquisitions, build-outs, consolidations, etc. Led technological development and integration leading to dramatic insights on cost.
  • Finance Lead for post merger integration. Reported to senior management on activity in 60+ distinct integration workstreams, including:
