Relevant Accomplishments 

  • Assumed the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer to further strengthen operations, accelerate the adoption of operational and technological innovations, and prepare the brand for rapid restaurant unit growth. 
  • Providing restaurant start-up, single unit and regional brand consulting services. Utilizing over 20+ years of executive level experience in conceptual development, systems, processes, leadership development, training and rebranding strategies. Utilizing leadership experience in public, private, PE and franchising businesses to help produce quantifiable & measurable results for our partners.
  • For a private equity backed sports bar restaurant group, responsible for establishing the vision and goals for the brand, including developing tactics and strategies that align with our company culture and purpose.  The only 2-time Finalist for” Best Sports Bar North America”. 
  • Developed and implemented long- and short-term strategies to grow revenue and profits at this $395M+, 194-unit pizza franchising business. Direct team of 5 Vice Presidents and Directors (Operations, Brand Development, Brand Innovation, Construction, and Purchasing & Logistics) with a staff of 40 (Business Coaches, Field Marketing Managers, Art & Design, Operations and Purchasing). Continually develop strategies, infrastructure and operations to promote, support and enhance relations with the franchise system with 90 franchisees. Focus on improving franchisee satisfaction and guest relations to ultimately increase stakeholder value. Opening 20+ unique locations a year for 3 years in a row.
  • Drove sales growth and direction of restaurant group aligning with overall corporate vision. Introduced new marketing platforms to increase SEO positioning and drive revenues throughout the operation. Managed a team of 5 (Vice President of Marketing, Corporate Chef, Directors of Operations, Purchasing, and Facilities Management) with 900 employees. Managed P&L; accountable for new store opening budgets and execution. Worked closely with unit-level teams, ensuring execution of all company standards, including guest service, food quality and facilities management.
  • Direct daily operations for 11 restaurants with $65M+ annual revenues including Division’s most profitable locations and primary client (Walt Disney World- Downtown Disney), as well as locations in Chicago, Palm Springs, St. Louis, Charlotte, Miami, Denver and New York. Managed Regional team that included Operations Management, Culinary Director, Marketing Department, Purchasing, Human Resources, Regional Sales Team And Regional Maintenance Department.
  • Lead a diverse division of businesses that included high volume theme dining operations, high end seafood restaurants, retail operations, midway games, theme park rides, 4D theater and aquatic exhibits. Annual divisional sales in excess of $72M.  Began career when company operated 75 restaurants, upon my departure the company had reached in excess of 300 locations, multiple casinos & entertainment parks generating over $2B a year in revenues.
