Relevant Accomplishments 

  • Succeeded the founder as Chief Executive Officer. Created strategy to evolve the brand to a more approachable, affordable and hospitable concept. Built a team to improve organizational structure, restaurant leadership, training, financial systems and food safety, establish vendor management and introduce a marketing strategy. During tenure as CEO, social ratings improved across all restaurants, achieving an average rating of 4.7, cost of sales improved by 4%, due to supply chain management and menu strategy. Hourly labor costs improved by 2% in 2022 vs prior year through effective hiring, training, appropriate staffing, schedule management and internal leadership development. Opened the new prototype.
  • Introduced operational leadership structure and talent management, developed internal training manager, recruited new management teams, developed and promoted area director, and recruited and on-boarded COO successor.  Implemented organizational structure, training and financial systems, point of sale consolidation, food safety, vendor management and opened new prototypes.  achieved a 20% comp sales increase in 2019 and social ratings improved across concept, achieving an average rating of 4.5/5 in social channels and delivery platforms.
  • Member of the Executive Management Team and the Operations leader consisting of 130 company restaurants and 25 domestic and international franchise locations, generating over $300 million in annual sales. 
  • As the Operations Team leader, responsible for the growth and development of 4 Regional Directors, a Director of Franchise Operations, 18 Area Directors, 130 General Managers, 390 Managers and over 5,000 Team Members.
  • Led restaurant operations for the Northeast Region of a major franchise group, consisting of 100 restaurants across New York, Pennsylvania, New England and New Jersey which generated over $320 million in annual sales.  
  • As the Regional Vice President, led 12 Joint Venture Partners (Area Directors), a Regional Training Team, 100 Managing Partners, 300 Managers and 6000 Team Members. Had the privilege to develop and promote two Regional Vice Presidents and four Joint Venture Partners. 
  • Entered into a Joint Venture Partnership as a limited owner and operator consisting of 12 restaurants in West Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah and Nevada. Consistently achieved sales and profitability plans and successfully improved “turnaround restaurants”. As a leader in Key Performance Indicators for the brand, selected as a test market for various brand initiatives.  
  • Worked with a highly successful team and developed two Joint Venture Partners and seven Managing Partners. Recognized as “Outbacker of the Year” in 2010 for leadership contribution and promoted to Regional Vice President of Operations in 2011.
