Relevant Accomplishments

Redesigned the national refrigerated distribution network for the Dairy Division (Santa Clara) of Coca-Cola Mexico, leading a 20-person cross-functional team across technical, planning, operations, and bottler partners. Designed a new chilled distribution chain for Modern, Traditional, and Home trade channels nationwide, defined reverse logistics handling for non-compliant finished goods, and improved S&OP effectiveness for the chilled business. 

 

• Redesigned the national refrigerated distribution network forDanone deMéxico, involving the opening of Distribution Centers all across the country, replacing small warehouses; implemented a new distribution/transportation system to ensure a proper service level to customers nationwide, assuring the cold chain from production sites to retailers’ shelves and keeping the company engagement to give to consumers at least 30 days shelf life before consumption. Leading a 30-person cross-functional team across technical, planning, operations, quality, R&D, Finance.
• Developed and recommended a new nationwide refrigerated distribution and finished product handling model for home trade channels, ensuring cold chain integrity while improving service levels and operational efficiency — directly aligned with regional dairy expansion and pilot-to-rollout strategies. 
  • Defined and executed fresh milk sourcing and dairy ingredient strategies in complex markets with limited local availability (Egypt, Algeria,Turkey) during leadership roles at Danone,demonstrating expertise in dairy supply security and cold chain constraints in emerging markets. 

   

  • Led integrated supply chain and distribution operations across Latin America, including Mexico, with full responsibility forlogistics, planning, procurement, manufacturing, and distribution — aligning regional expansion plans with financial and operational KPIs.

   

  • Designed and implemented integrated S&OP, DRP, andlogisticsoptimization frameworks across multi-site operations, improving service levels while reducing inventory and improving working capital by €20M+ in prior roles. 

   

  • Built andleveragedlocal supply and distribution partnerships across Mexico and Latin America, reducing reliance on imports (from 90% to 60% in prior region) and strengthening regional production and distribution capabilities — relationships that can be activated for market discussions and network expansion planning. 

   

  • Led large-scale transformation and restructuring initiatives as CEO of SCMC-Coca-Cola China (joint venture with COFCO and Swire bottlers), overseeing 16 factories and end-to-end distribution, successfully delivering P&L targets during pandemic disruption whilemaintainingservice continuity. 

   

  • Negotiated and implemented long-term supplier andlogisticsagreements globally (budget accountability up to €600M), generating €30M+ in savings while improving service and distribution responsiveness. 

   

  • Created Vendor Evaluation and supplier collaboration programs to enhance performance, innovation, and service reliability across integrated supply chains — ensuring disciplined partner selection critical for regional distribution expansion.
