Summary

For the better part of the last 20 years, this Fintech M&A expert consultant has been leading Corporate Development functons in the technology space.  He is a senior M&A and finance leader who has extensive experience in all transaction types.  He has taken 3 companies public and papered over 100 deals including minority investments and earn-outs; in addition to straight acquistions.  He is a C-Suite leader that works well with his peers and boards to provide insights and solutions to mitigate risks and maximize deal returns. His transaction experience includes leading deal teams and client management teams to drive transaction and operational economics.  In addition, he has led numerous global integrations, divestitures, value creation, transformation and performance improvement projects.

His deep M&A experience includes leading excutive teams to develop develop strategies including building deal pipelines, bid evalution, due diligence as well as working closely with potential sellers to address and resolve issues to drive shareholder valuation. He is comfortable working with cross-functional leaders to identify deal drivers, collect and assess financial and all departmental data required to support the and manage seller questions.  Greg is a team player who collaborates working across functions and levels to develop innovative solutions that accelerate transaction and project timelines while ensuring the deal/project economics are achieved.  His communications and processes support timely go/no-go decisions.

  • Was part of the leadership team that took a company public at $400mm.  Through his Corporate Development leadership, the company grew to a market valuation to $5.5B at the time of his departure.  Highlighting this was international deals to launch the international division and his ability to drive acquisitive deals.
  • Advised and led post-merger integration of a SaaS health care business acquired from a PE firm.    Established IMO and led integration teams to achieve deal timeline while minimizing costs and driving overall value creation.  Led deal communication with sell side executives, buy side Executive Team, CEO and BOD to address and resolve major deal issues.
  • He has a unique approach of driving diligence and integration at the same time to focus on deal efficiency and focused synergy capture.
  • He is an M&A savant whose versatility allows him to represent and/or collaborate with all functional areas in the deal process to ensure completeness of deal analysis.
  • He has a vast network of goodwill built up with Investment Bankers, Private Equity and Venture Capital firms that allows him to efficiently source deals.
