  • CIO responsible for all aspects of IT, data & analytics, and enterprise PMO operations for BCBS of Vermont. 
  • Led and actively contributed to the BCBSVT sustainability initiative, ultimately achieving a successful affiliation with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM). 
  • Leading the integration efforts with BCBSM as a member of the Integration Management Office (IMO) to achieve the affiliation value per the pro forma.

  • Leading the digital transformation initiative, orchestrating the seamless migration of the call center, portals, and care management through the strategic utilization of Salesforce and multiple cloud vendors.

  • Responsible for Kaiser Permanente customer e-business strategy – overall strategy, execution, and operations needed to deliver digital capabilities for customers. 
  • Championed and led an $80 million multi-phase multi-year project to replace legacy B2C and B2B systems with an “Always On/Real time” eCommerce Platform. Project benefits included a 25% reduction in workforce that yielded a savings of $10 million per year. 
  • Partnered with business executives to develop digital strategies for member growth, retention, and to recover over $200 million in lost revenue. 
  • Delivered the implementation of EPIC for member health record access and supported meaningful use stage 2 requirements which enabled secure electronic messaging. • Transformed the organization culture to a delivery and performance-based organization through adoption of Agile and services-based architecture. Built a sustainable team and processes to support 24/7 operation 
  • Significantly improved overall availability and resilience of the member and business facing systems, classified as mission and care critical systems, by driving infrastructure programs for high and continuous availability.
