Relevant Accomplishments

  • Redesigned and streamlined month end accounting process to both comply with GAAP and get results to make decisions faster.  Updated allocation processes and eliminated unnecessary allocations, improved process flow, and corrected balance sheet discrepancies.  Drove process from 3 months to 10 days resulting in faster, accurate and more useful reports. Improved decision-making to focus on strategic issues.
  • Implemented strategic and quarterly P&L and cash flow model, analysis and management review meetings.  Designed analysis model, educated management on meaning behind calculations, and presented analysis / results to board and management.  Drove forecasting time down 90% and improved bottom line by $200K due to optimizing and cutting unnecessary spend, changing vendors, and renegotiating purchasing contracts.
  • Led the diligence and integration of multiple acquisitions resulting in doubling the size of the company while leading diligence, as we prepared to further grow the company and gain investment, by multiple PE entities.
  • Managed the quarterly “landing” process of a $750M annual business unit. Developed model to track and anticipate variances to forecast that improved the company’s communication to Wall Street and allowed Allergan to continue hitting earnings estimates as we grew more complex.
  • Implemented new ERP, HRIS, and cap table management systems and inventory management / procurement processes.
