Relevant Accomplishments
- Progressed from MFG/Process Engineer to Plant Manager, Director of Operations, and last 15 years as VP of Operations for market leading manufacturer where primary focus was on expanding operations and capacity to meet increasing sales and market share.
- Responsible for multi-site manufacturing spanning up to 11 sites, 1200 employees and serving $500MM in annual sales.
- Driven to improve operational metrics covering safety, quality, cost and customer service while also leveraging a hands-on approach to process improvements that improve employee engagement and bottom-line KPI results.
- Directly responsible for serving markets including Aztec Plastics Division (24/7/365 injection molding division), Dayton Richmond concrete accessories (fabricated metal/wire products), Symons Forming (commercial concrete forming products), American Highway paving baskets, and Unitex branded cementitious and liquid chemicals (epoxies, cures, sealants, etc).
- Internal consultant roles including plant management, greenfield facility expansions, international MFG and DC start-ups, and Corporate ERP conversion to SAP supporting the production planning and materials/warehouse management integrations.
- Management philosophy is driven to succeed and not afraid to fail, I use an action-oriented, teamwork approach to process improvement and floor-level associate engagement.
