This Interim Operations Leader in the Optics industry is a highly accomplished, process-minded senior executive with over 30 years’ experience in progressive operations leadership for multi-site domestic and international manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain organizations.   • Corporate leadership positions in operations, production planning and quality for a mid-sized optics manufacturer. Worked with worldwide factories on operational improvements, lean manufacturing, quality and capacity planning (S&OP). Managed sourcing decisions to balance company factories and led team sourcing third party custom products.  Led operations efforts with optics manufacturing and production control resulting in improved on time delivery, reduced inventory and lower cycle times in factories.
  • Facilitated divisional lean manufacturing team focusing on streamlining the process from customer order to delivery of product to reduce cycle time and errors and improve internal communication and customer satisfaction.
  • Consulting with clients on operational improvements to their manufacturing operations including lean manufacturing, quality and process improvement, leadership development and employee health and safety.
  • Driven to improve operational metrics covering safety, quality, cost and customer service while also leveraging a hands-on approach to process improvements that improve employee engagement and bottom-line KPI results.
  • Internal consultant roles including corporate ERP conversion to SAP. Led the manufacturing, production planning and quality assurance SAP integrations at 5 manufacturing and corporate locations worldwide.
  • Management philosophy is to create employee ownership in safety, quality and operations efficiency. I use an action-oriented, data driven, teamwork approach to process improvement and floor-level associate engagement.
